Hayward Gaude is a Texas-based fine artist specializing in museum-quality oil portraits and still lifes. No matter how much time is available with the subject, my goal is always to paint with light the palette of the personality. Rather than gritty reality, the beauty of of the subject’s best vision of themselves is my elusive goal, and elevating that vision along with their personal story to a grand scale is what I hope to deliver.
